Kurt Schrama values sustainability and is actively committed to a greener and more sustainable future. As part of FM Group, we are members of the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), a sustainability initiative for the floriculture industry. Many of our growers are FSI certified, allowing florists to recognise who is a committed sustainable grower.
FSI certification
Growers who achieve FSI certification embrace a variety of sustainable techniques and initiatives. From using LED lighting to creating sustainable packaging from residual materials. Even natural weed control using chickens instead of harmful pesticides are among the sustainable innovations.
Sustainable webshop offerings
In our webshop, we offer a wide selection of sustainable products. Each product has been carefully selected, with you and the environment in mind. You can recognise these sustainable products by the Sustainable (FSI) filter, which allows you to easily identify our sustainable products and suppliers that grow in a sustainable way.
Whether you are looking for beautiful flowers, such as gerberas, chrysanthemums, hydrangeas, lilies and roses, we have something for everyone. But also sustainable plants - such as cacti, calatheas, cyclamen and kalanchoes - can be found in the webshop.
